The Marlborough Home & Garden Show - Coming Soon!
Inspiration, expert advice and show-only bargains - just a taste of what home enthusiasts can expect at the Marlborough Home & Garden Show, opening Friday 7 July at The Marlborough Lines Stadium 2000.
The one-stop event will run for three days as over 110 exhibitors gather to show case the latest in building, renovating and home improvement. Visitors will be treated to previews of what’s new in gardening, kitchens, heating, building and renovating, solar solutions, hot tubs and much more.
Event organiser, Josh Shanley, said “We will have a host of industry professionals discussing high-interest topics over the three days, so visitors will have the chance to quiz them about their next home improvement projects. Topics will include kitchens, renovation, interior design, solar power and choosing colour. We really encourage people to bring along their plans, photos and ideas and to make the most of all the on-site expertise.”
Visitors can get cosy for winter with the latest in heating options on display, including heat pumps, wall heaters and heat transfer kits. For those keen to stay toasty warm outdoors, there will also be kitset outdoor fireplaces from first-time exhibitor, Morepork Fireplaces.
An interesting line-up of other businesses are also making their debut at the show. These include Dream Door Kitchen Renovations, Fraemohs Homes and their solid timber kitset homes, Panelwood Homes Nelson showcasing their unique building system, Sky Solar, Window Treatments, plus Architectural Profiles Ltd and Envision Aluminium.
IKON Commercial is another new-comer, sporting its quality range of kitchen appliances, all of which will have 15% - 50% off as a show-only special. Visitors will be able to see these appliances in action, including the new Flow-In, which combines a rangehood and induction hob all in one. (See image) IKON is the only New Zealand stockist of the Flow-In, along with coloured stainless steel sinks, which will also be on display at their stand at the front of the Stadium. Visitors can expect many more innovations and impressive specials from other exhibitors too.
One lucky visitor will walk away with the show prize. This comprises a $3,125 kitset outdoor fireplace and seating in a schist style from Morepork Fireplaces, plus HomeTech solatubing and installation worth $3,000. The solatubing is transferable to family or friends within the Marlborough/Nelson licensee area. There will also be a $250 Resene voucher which can be spent on paint, wallpaper or curtains. Show-goers need only enter their details at the show entrance for the chance to win.
A food, art and New Zealand-made aisle will treat visitors to possum-fur throws, cushions, clothing and footware; hand-crafted sausages and cured meats; essential oils; wood-turned kauri and other native timbers; alpaca and merino clothing; fudge; infused oils and much more. The Resene Paint-a-Pot for kids and Paint-a-Home for adults will provide family fun and entertainment from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Saturday and Sunday.
